I spend a while most weeks browsing cars on all of the major car selling websites. It is a bit of an obsession, but it lets me come across some cars I would never even have known about, let alone actually looked for. I search for obscure keywords and odd phrases just to see what strange and wonderful cars await me at the end of the search.

A recent foray into the world of cars on eBay turned up a 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline, customised and restored to a beautiful standard. Whilst the rusty red shade wouldn’t normally be my choice, in this classic vintage car it worked brilliantly. I found myself obsessed with the hot-rod looks, the mean, lean and distinctive shape, and the fact that I would look darn good driving it!

Then I remembered that I couldn’t afford it, so I thought I would share it with you guys instead!
